Thursday is my wife’s birthday! That should be fun. I took the whole weekend off!! 4 day vacation yay!

Speaking of vacation we booked a
cruise in October! For our anniversary! Yesssss! We will be going to Aruba again! And some other Caribbean islands. Psyched!!

Dust and Ashes… Finishing up a few songs to post, playing a free show on may 25th. Good stuff…

Thinking about starting a new project though… Something like “the Rhoades Project.” With my brother… Should be pretty sick… I’m actually really excited for it. I want to play all the instruments I know how to play, and have others switch instruments during/between songs and etc.

I really want to get new microphones and a new guitar… I’m always freaking out about gear but I think once I get a stereo pair of overheads, a guitar with passive pickups and a whammy bar, and a guitar amp… Then I will be ready to start this project.

However, all I need to start RECORDING is the microphones. And I should be getting them soon. I am psyched for it. It will be a huge step for me… I’m just really psyched to try recording drums pro style.

My wife’s birthday is coming up! I’m gunna be off 4 days total which I am excited for. Haven’t had that amount of time off of work since our wedding. We also booked a cruise for our anniversary which I am stoked for! We’re going back to Aruba!! And we’ll visit Jamaica and some other islands.

Watched this movie with the wife the other day… Pretty good movie. Very good, actually.

God is good!

So I’m gunna be starting an internship in web design… This internship basically came to me. It seemed by chance, but it was totally by God. I’m so thrilled and excited. My soon-to-be boss is a Christian and seems super awesome.
He may even employ my musical talents in writing some sort of instrumental “jingles” so to speak. I am beyond excited!

I am also meeting with my first web design client this Thursday!!! Praying it goes well. Thank you, God, for providing me with an abundance of opportunities. Prayers are being answered, and hard work is paying off.
